This is your chance to experience half marathon and 5K races that showcase the best that the greater Lansing area has to offer. The CCRR is a family friendly event that raises money for the Impression 5 Science Center.
Our half marathon will take you through a portion of the Michigan State University Campus, along the Lansing River Trail and through several scenic parks. Our 5K features downtown attractions, including a loop around the State Capitol building. There are also two special races for children, which means that just about anybody can come out, have fun, improve their fitness level and help raise money for a great cause.
The CCRR offers amenities including tech shirts, great food, entertainment and a science fair at the finish produced by the Impression 5 Science Center with activities and exhibits for kids of all ages.
Both the half marathon and 5K start at 8:30 a.m. on Michigan Avenue in front of the Lansing Center in downtown Lansing. Children’s races start at 9:20 a.m. on Grand Avenue near Adado Riverfront Park.
